The Massey Family

Tonight I had the honor of photographing The Massey Family at the Julington Creek Club.  With the gorgeous orange fall leaves and the pretty pond and water fountain, we all enjoyed working in this new area of the Julington Creek Plantation.

Here’s Troy their sweet 4 year old boy that didn’t believe me when I told him I ate snakes, elephants and teeth for my Thanksgiving dinner…and they say kids believe anything…nope not with this smart cookie!

And then there’s their 8 year old daughter, Caroline who loves to laugh and pose for the camera. ¬†She was a true doll to photograph! ¬†I found out that Caroline loves to eat chicken and oatmeal…so I guess eating elephants is not her cup of tea (LOL).

Brother sure does love his sissy!

And daddy sure loves mommy! ¬†Watching Scott kiss his wife was so moving. ¬†His love for Kate is sweet, gentle and very intimate – it’s rare that couples show their affection in front of the camera, but not for Scott. ¬†His love for his wife poured over her right away! ¬†It gave me much joy to capture them together.

Thank you Kate, Scott, Caroline and Troy for a great time photographing you all.  You all are a lovely family!!!

Getting Ready Shots for The Humprey Wedding

Okay so you all have waited a full 24 hours to see more photos from Stefanie & Derek’s Brazilian Vintage Glamour wedding… do I get an applaus for getting these photos up so fast (smiles). ¬†There are honestly so many great photos that I could easily post here on my blog, but if I did that, we all would see flying cars before your internet provider could upload all the photos here! ¬†So to help ease the pains of waiting for these photos to download, I have created separate posts to include some high light photos from their wedding day.¬†

Stefanie is a professional make up artist, even on her own wedding day, she had to perfect her girls make up! ¬†Here is Stefanie beautifying her sister, Vanessa…

Here’s Stefanie with her new Canon 50D camera! ¬†Stefanie is just learning photography and already takes amazing photos! ¬†

There are three more posts after this one that all cover Stefanie & Derek’s wedding day so keep scrolling down to see more.

Fun Details From the Humphrey Wedding

One of my favorite things to photograph is all the details that brides spend so much time, thought and yes, MONEY on all the intricate details that make their wedding unique & special to them. ¬†I just fell in love with Stefanie’s “Vintage Glamour” theme that I couldn’t keep my finger off the shutter taking it all in! ¬†I loved the black and pink feathers Stefanie used in her flowers and the bridesmaid’s hair… so chic, classy and elegant!

And now for the dress…

And now the sparkling diamond rings…

The Humprey’s Wedding Ceremony

Stefanie and Derek married at The Family Church¬†located in Gainesville, FL with A’vie Inc., Wedding & Events as their coordinators. ¬†Working with Angela Renick and her team made the day run smoothly. ¬†It’s always nice when you get to work with a wedding coordinator that is organized and keeps you ¬†in the loop on things! ¬†I hope to work with A’vie Weddings again!

The church where Stefanie & Derek tied the knot was romantically lined with candles that included gold sparkling stars leading all the way up to an arch splashed with many adornments.  The ceremony was not only tender but very warm too.  The many candles not only created the romantic atmosphere but the guests that attended the wedding made this ceremony complete with love and adoration for the in love couple!

Driving in the TRAIN LIMO… or should I say “partying down to some fun music” in the train limo we made our way to the reception…
